258 | 262 | either on the front or back of the driver license or the | |
259 | 263 | identification card, include a numeric designation indicating a | |
260 | 264 | veteran’s one-hundred-percent disability rating granted to the | |
261 | 265 | veteran by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. The | |
262 | 266 | items required by this subsection shall be designed by Service | |
263 | 267 | Oklahoma that will serve as a notation of veteran status as well as | |
264 | 268 | a notation of the existence of a United States Departme nt of | |
265 | 269 | Veterans Affairs disability rating as applicable. The current | |
266 | 270 | spouse of a one-hundred-percent disabled veteran or an unr emarried | |
267 | 271 | surviving spouse of a deceased, one-hundred-percent disabled veteran | |

311 | 316 | received a flag emblem pursuant to this subsection, no registration | |
312 | 317 | with the veterans registry shall be required to receive the flag | |
313 | 318 | emblem prior to the deadline established in subsection C of this | |

315 | 320 | C. Service Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Department of Veterans | |
316 | 321 | Affairs shall implement a technology-based information exchange | |
317 | 322 | process whereby all motor license agents ar e able to validate, upon | |
318 | 323 | application for issuance or renewal of the driver license or | |

513 | - | indicating his or her status as an eligible cu rrent spouse or an | |
514 | - | eligible unremarried surviving spouse enti tled to the sales tax | |
515 | - | exemption provided in Section 1357 of Titl e 68 of the Oklahoma | |
516 | - | Statutes. Representation of veteran status an d disability rating on | |
517 | - | the driver license and the identification card shall be adequate | |
518 | - | confirmation for purposes of veterans benefits offered by public or | |
519 | - | private entities doing business within this state and no further | |

559 | - | C. Service Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Department of Veterans | |
560 | - | Affairs shall implement a technology-based information exchange | |
561 | - | process whereby all motor license agents are able to validat e, upon | |
562 | - | application for issuance or renewal of the driver license or | |
563 | - | identification card, an applicant ’s claim of veteran status, veteran | |
564 | - | disability status, sta tus as a current spouse of an eligible, | |
565 | - | disabled veteran or status as an unremarried surviving s pouse of an | |
566 | - | eligible, deceased disabled veteran as provided for in subsection A | |
567 | - | of this section. The requir ements of this subsection shall be | |
568 | - | implemented no later than July 1, 2024. | |
569 | - | D. With regard to the issuance of REAL -ID compliant license s | |
570 | - | containing items described in subsection A of this section, Service | |
571 | - | Oklahoma shall comply with all federal design requi rements and shall | |
572 | - | seek design approval from all necessary federal agencies, including | |
573 | - | but not limited to the United States Department of Homeland | |
