32 | 59 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-225 of Title 43A, unless there | |

35 | 61 | A. As used in this section, “emergency opioid antagonist ” means | |
36 | 62 | a drug including but not limited to naloxone that blocks the effects | |
37 | 63 | of opioids and that is approved by the United States Food and Drug | |

51 | 99 | 1. Authorizes any licensed pharmacist, any other health care | |
52 | 100 | provider licensed or certified in this state , or any mental health | |
53 | 101 | or substance abuse provider licensed or certified in this state to | |
54 | 102 | distribute emergency opioid antagonists to any person or entity | |
55 | 103 | within this state upon request; and | |
56 | - | ||
57 | 104 | 2. Allows for the possession, storage, distribution, and | |
58 | 105 | administration of emergency opioid antagonists by any individual or | |
59 | 106 | entity within this state. | |

61 | 107 | D. The standing order issu ed under this section shall remain in | |
62 | 108 | effect until the United States Food and Drug Administration | |
63 | 109 | classifies at least one emergency opioid antagonist as an over-the- | |
64 | 110 | counter (OTC) drug. | |

66 | 111 | SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation | |
67 | 112 | of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby | |
68 | 113 | declared to exist, by re ason whereof this act shall take effect a nd | |
69 | 114 | be in full force from and after its passage and approval. | |
