AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Legislature; requiring certain
public comment; allowing each chamber to set
procedures; providing for codification; and declaring
an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law t o be codified
in the Oklahoma Statu tes as Section 452.11 of Title 74, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Upon effective date of this act, t he Legislature shall require
all standing and special Senate and House of R epresentatives
committees to allow public comment at each committee meeting in
which legislation is be ing considered. Each chamber shall have
authority to establish p olicy and procedures respective to its body
to implement the provision of this section.
SECTION 2. It being immediately nec essary for the preservation
of the public peace, he alth or safety, an emergency is hereby
