29	57		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

31	58		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 536.8, is
32	59		amended to read as follows:

34	60		Section 536.8. A. Every person who is licens ed pursuant to the
35	61		provisions of the Registered Electrologist Act and who is licensed
36	62		to practice electrolysis in this state shall regi ster the license
37	63		with the county clerk of the county in which said person has legal
38	64		residence. The county clerk to whom s uch license is presented shall
39	65		register the name and address of the person designated in the
40	66		license, together with the date and the n umber inscribed thereon,

42	95		Board annually, during the mont h of February, a notice of the record
43	96		so made.

45	97		B. Every person who is licensed pursuant to the provisions of
46	98		the Registered Electrolo gist Act to practice electrolysis in this

49	99		state shall keep said license displayed in his place of business as
50	100		long as he is engaged in the practice of electrolysis. Th e receipt
51	101		for the annual renewal of license shall be kept at such person ’s
52	102		place of business and shall be shown to any person requesting to see
53	103		the same. The licensee shall ke ep the Board informed of his curre nt
54	104		address. A license issued by the Board is the property of the Board
55	105		and shall be surrendered on demand of the Board.

57	106		SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 30 40.13, is
58	107		amended to read as follows:

60	108		Section 3040.13. A. The State Department of Health shall
61	109		maintain a roster of each person licensed as a midwi fe in this
62	110		state. The roster shall contain for each licensed midwife the
63	111		information required on the informed ch oice and disclosure statement
64	112		under Section 3040.10 of this title and other information the
65	113		Department determines necessary to accurately identify each licensed
66	114		midwife. The roster shall be a public document available under the
67	115		Oklahoma Open Records Act.

69	143		B. The Department shall provide each county clerk and each
70	144		local registrar of births in a county with the name of each midwife
71	145		practicing in the county.

73	146		C. Any data required to be submitted to the Department pursuant
74	147		to Shepherd’s Law shall not contain a ny personally identifying
75	148		information of the client by the midwife and shall be considered
76	149		confidential records collected for statistical information purposes
77	150		only.

79	151		SECTION 3. REPEALER 59 O.S. 2021, Section 510, is hereby
80	152		repealed.

82	153		SECTION 4. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
