2957 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

3158 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 536.8, is
3259 amended to read as follows:

3460 Section 536.8. A. Every person who is licens ed pursuant to the
3561 provisions of the Registered Electrologist Act and who is licensed
3662 to practice electrolysis in this state shall regi ster the license
3763 with the county clerk of the county in which said person has legal
3864 residence. The county clerk to whom s uch license is presented shall
3965 register the name and address of the person designated in the
4066 license, together with the date and the n umber inscribed thereon,

4597 B. Every person who is licensed pursuant to the provisions of
4698 the Registered Electrolo gist Act to practice electrolysis in this

4999 state shall keep said license displayed in his place of business as
50100 long as he is engaged in the practice of electrolysis. Th e receipt
51101 for the annual renewal of license shall be kept at such person ’s
52102 place of business and shall be shown to any person requesting to see
53103 the same. The licensee shall ke ep the Board informed of his curre nt
54104 address. A license issued by the Board is the property of the Board
55105 and shall be surrendered on demand of the Board.

57106 SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 30 40.13, is
58107 amended to read as follows:

60108 Section 3040.13. A. The State Department of Health shall
61109 maintain a roster of each person licensed as a midwi fe in this
62110 state. The roster shall contain for each licensed midwife the
63111 information required on the informed ch oice and disclosure statement
64112 under Section 3040.10 of this title and other information the
65113 Department determines necessary to accurately identify each licensed
66114 midwife. The roster shall be a public document available under the
67115 Oklahoma Open Records Act.

69143 B. The Department shall provide each county clerk and each
70144 local registrar of births in a county with the name of each midwife
71145 practicing in the county.

73146 C. Any data required to be submitted to the Department pursuant
74147 to Shepherd’s Law shall not contain a ny personally identifying
75148 information of the client by the midwife and shall be considered
76149 confidential records collected for statistical information purposes
77150 only.

79151 SECTION 3. REPEALER 59 O.S. 2021, Section 510, is hereby
80152 repealed.

82153 SECTION 4. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
