67	58		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
68	59		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Section 3 -130, is
69	60		amended to read as follows:
70	61		Section 3-130. A. The Secretar y of the State Election Board
71	62		shall have the authority to direct the secretary of a county
	63	+	election board to conduct a post -election audit of election results
	64	+	for any election, for the purpose of maintaining the security of the
	65	+	election system by ensuring that voting devices and software used in
	66	+	a particular election correctly tabulated votes. The Secretary

100		-	for any election, for the purpose of ma intaining the security of the
101		-	election system by ensuring that voting devices and software used in
102		-	a particular election correctly tabulated votes. The Secretary
103	93		shall direct the secretary of the county election board in each
104	94		county to conduct a post -election audit following elections held on
105	95		dates set forth in Sections 1-101, 1-102, 1-103, and 20-101 of this
106	96		title.
107	97		B. The method, timing , and procedures for conducting a post -
108	98		election audit shall be determined by the Secretary of the State
109	99		Election Board.
110	100		C. The secretary of a county election board shall report the
111	101		findings of a post-election audit to the Secretary of the State
112	102		Election Board, and such report shall be available to the public.
113	103		D. The Secretary of the State Election Board may promulgate
114	104		policies, rules, and procedures to implement the requirements of
115	105		this section.
116	106		E. For the purposes of this title, a “post -election audit” is
117	107		defined as means a manual or electronic examination of a limited
118	108		number of ballots by a secretary of a county election board or other
119	109		authorized election officials following a n election. A post-
120	110		election audit shall be conducted only at the direction of the
121	111		Secretary of the State Election Board and only subject to the
	112	+	Secretary’s previously promulgated prescribed policies, rules, or
	113	+	procedures.
	114	+	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
