77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5029.2 of Title 63, unless there
80	80	is created a duplication in numbering, reads a s follows:
81	81	A. The state Medicaid program shall cover chiropractic care
82	82	performed by licensed chiropractic physicians when such services are
83	83	medically necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of illness or
84	84	injury or to improve the functioning of a malform ed body member.
85	85	B. The state Medicaid program shall not exclude members from
86	86	coverage under this section on the basis of age.
87	87	C. No prior authorization shall be required for a member to
88	88	receive medically necessary chiropractic care.

140	140	D. The Oklahoma Heal th Care Authority Board shall promulgate
141	141	rules as necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
142	142	E. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall seek any federal
143	143	approval necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
144	144	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
145	145	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
146	146	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
147	147	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect a nd
148	148	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
