7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7979 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5029.2 of Title 63, unless there
8080 is created a duplication in numbering, reads a s follows:
8181 A. The state Medicaid program shall cover chiropractic care
8282 performed by licensed chiropractic physicians when such services are
8383 medically necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of illness or
8484 injury or to improve the functioning of a malform ed body member.
8585 B. The state Medicaid program shall not exclude members from
8686 coverage under this section on the basis of age.
8787 C. No prior authorization shall be required for a member to
8888 receive medically necessary chiropractic care.

140140 D. The Oklahoma Heal th Care Authority Board shall promulgate
141141 rules as necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
142142 E. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall seek any federal
143143 approval necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
144144 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
145145 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
146146 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
147147 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect a nd
148148 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
