115196 23. Discharging a firearm at or into a dwelling or building
116197 used for public or b usiness purposes, as provided for in Section
117198 1289.17A of this title,

119199 or any attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation thereof, shall be
120200 required to serve not less than eighty -five percent (85%) of any
121201 sentence of imprisonment imposed by the judicial system prio r to
122202 becoming eligible for consideration for parole. Persons convicted
123203 of these offenses shall not be eligible for earned credits or any
124204 other type of credits which have the effect of reducing the length
125205 of the sentence to less than eighty -five percent (85%) of the
126206 sentence imposed.
