Designating June 8, 2025, as "Lieutenant Colonel George Hardy Day" in Pennsylvania, honoring Lieutenant Colonel George Hardy's military service and recognizing him as a decorated veteran, community leader and enduring symbol of courage.
Eliminating school district property taxes; imposing county and school district taxes; establishing the School District Emergency Fund and the School District Property Tax Elimination Fund; consolidating Articles II and III of the Tax Reform Code of 1971; in preliminary provisions relating to sales and use tax, providing for definitions; in taxation generally relating to sales and use tax, providing for exclusions and for transfer to county sales and use tax accounts; in preliminary provisions relating to personal income tax, providing for definitions; and making repeals.
Further providing for compensation of Governor and Lieutenant Governor, State Treasurer, Auditor General, Attorney General, commissioners of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and heads of departments.
Further providing for definitions, for occupations and establishments, for employment of minors in a performance and for duties of employer; repealing provisions relating to work permit; and further providing for administration and for newspaper delivery.
In snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles, further providing for definitions, for designation of snowmobile and ATV roads and for operation in safe manner.
Directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to conduct a study evaluating Pennsylvania's trespassing laws, including the enforcement of those laws, with the goal of effectively deterring trespassing on private property.
Imposing a moratorium on enactment of new or expanded health insurance policy mandated benefits; and requiring the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to study the issue of health insurance mandates and report to the General Assembly.
