Provides that supervision by a licensed physical therapist of a physical therapist assistant shall be continuous but shall not require the physical presence of the licensed physical therapist at the time and place where services are being performed; requires a licensed physical therapist to be available for consultation with the physical therapist assistant or the patient within a reasonable amount of time.
Amends the 2024 capital projects budget to allow competitive grants to include funding for safety and security projects at small businesses at risk of hate crimes or attacks.
Prohibits state funding of any college if instructional staff promotes, encourages, advocates or engages in activities on campus in support of a terrorist organization as defined in federal statute.
Provides that any copayment or coinsurance amount charged by an insurer to the insured for services rendered by a physical therapist or an occupational therapist shall not be more than twenty-five percent greater than the copayment or coinsurance amount imposed for an office visit to a licensed primary care physician or osteopath for the same or a similar diagnosed condition.
Credits any on-premises licensees or any manufacturing licensee with on-premises retail privileges for each day they were unable to operate due to COVID-19; provides that such credits shall be used for such licensee's license renewal; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof.
Authorizes the issuance of distinctive legion of valor license plates for individuals who have received the army medal of honor, navy medal of honor, air force medal of honor, army distinguished service cross, navy cross, coast guard cross, or air force cross.
Requires that no person acting as a political party chairperson, an elected public officer, an individual who is subject to the rules established by the commission on public integrity and any other person who is an officer of an organization, association or corporation that receives public funding shall be elected as a delegate to a constitutional convention.
Repeals the provision of law that volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers who receive a real property tax exemption for service may not receive the income tax credit for such service.
Requires sex offenders who fail to register or verify their registration on two or more occasions to wear a location-tracking device while on probation, parole, conditional release or post-release supervision; establishes failure to wear such device shall be a class D felony and grounds for revocation of parole and probation.
Provides a filing extension for the "enhanced" STAR exemption to initial applicants provided that such applicants have not been granted such extension before and such applicants are otherwise entitled to the exemption.
Relates to the definition of wiretapping by requiring the party recording the conversation to receive the consent of both parties present for the recording to be legal.
Increases the maximum amount of individual awards for the physician loan repayment program and physician practice support program to encourage physicians to practice in underserved areas.
