Requires ice skating rinks maintain a certain indoor air quality and maintain a certificate of acceptable air quality where a resurfacing machine is used.
Enacts the Long Island power authority public power act to facilitate transition of the Long Island power authority into a full public power model through modifications of its authority to manage, operate and control utility operations in its service area as well as to modify its statutory, fiduciary, financial and related obligations.
Establishes a civil cause of action for employees who are subjected to an abusive work environment; provides employers shall be vicariously liable for such work environment.
Removes certain provisions relating to maximum rates for certain hotel and motel taxes in Ulster county; removes certain provisions exempting short-term rentals from such taxes.
