2222 It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
2323 SECTION 1. Chapter 16-22 of the General Laws entitled "Curriculum [See Title 16 1
2424 Chapter 97 — the Rhode Island Board of Education Act]" is hereby amended by adding thereto the 2

2626 16-22-39. Compulsory nutrition, food preparation and cooking courses. 4
2727 All public high schools in Rhode Island shall require all students to enroll in a nutrition 5
2828 course, food preparation course and cooking course during any year of their four (4) year student 6
2929 enrollment. 7
3030 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect on July 1, 2023. 8
