2222 It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
2323 SECTION 1. Title 28 of the General Laws entitled "LABOR AND LABOR RELATIONS" 1
2424 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following chapter: 2
2525 CHAPTER 60 3
2626 POSTING OF VETERANS' BENEFITS AND SERVICES 4
2727 28-60-1. Posting of veterans' benefits and services. 5
2828 (a) The department of labor and training shall consult with the office of veterans services 6
2929 to create and distribute a veterans' benefits and services poster. 7
3030 (b) Such poster shall, at a minimum, include information regarding the following services 8
3131 available to veterans: 9
3232 (1) Contact and website information for the office of veterans services and the department's 10
3333 veterans' program; 11
3434 (2) Substance abuse and mental health treatment; 12
3535 (3) Educational, workforce, and training resources; 13
3636 (4) Tax benefits; 14
3737 (5) Rhode Island state veteran drivers' licenses and non-driver identification cards; 15
3838 (6) Eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits under state and/or federal law; 16
3939 (7) Legal services; and 17
4040 (8) Contact information for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs veterans 18

4545 (c) Every employer in the state with more than fifty (50) full-time equivalent employees 2
4646 shall display the poster created pursuant to this section in a conspicuous place accessible to 3
4747 employees in the workplace. 4
4848 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect on January 1, 2024. 5
