| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS: The enabling act creating the Bristol-Warren Regional School District, Public 1 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Laws of 1991, Chapter 330 ("hereinafter referred to as the "enabling act") has not been reviewed 2 |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | since its enactment in 1991; and 3 |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS: There have been many changes in the almost thirty-two (32) years since its 4 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | enactment, both at the district and state level in regard to education; and 5 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS: There is no procedure set forth in the enabling act for a periodic review of the 6 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | enabling act; and 7 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS: A periodic review of the enabling act is necessary to meet the constant, and 8 |

| 31 | 31 | | changing, challenges of public education. 9 |

| 32 | 32 | | NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AS 10 |

| 38 | 38 | | The agreement with respect to the formation of a regional school district between the towns 16 |
