2323 It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
2424 SECTION 1. Chapter 21-28.9 of the General Laws entitled "The Good Samaritan Overdose 1
2525 Prevention Act of 2016" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
2626 21-28.9-6. Training to administer opioid antagonists. 3
2727 All lifeguards, and park and forest rangers, employed to work in any state or municipal 4
2828 public beach or facility shall be trained in the administration of opioid antagonists, pursuant to the 5
2929 provisions of this chapter. All state or municipal public beaches and facilities, that employ 6
3030 lifeguards, and park and forest rangers, shall maintain and provide a minimum of four (4) doses of 7
3131 the opioid antagonist. 8
3232 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 9
