| 18 | 18 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 3 |

| 19 | 19 | | Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 13-33: 4 |

| 20 | 20 | | The board of each school district shall ensure that the health curriculum offered to 5 |

| 21 | 21 | | students in grades nine through twelve incorporates, by means of oral, written, or digital 6 |

| 22 | 22 | | lessons, or by means of lectures or presentations, information about human sexuality as 7 |

| 23 | 23 | | it relates to sexual activity and pregnancy in the context of student health and healthy 8 |

| 24 | 24 | | relationships, and human biology as it relates to pregnancy and human development 9 |

| 25 | 25 | | inside the womb. The information must include at least two of the following: 10 |

| 26 | 26 | | (1) A video presentation that uses a high-quality, computer-generated rendering or 11 |

| 27 | 27 | | animation to demonstrate the process of a chemical abortion in the first trimester; 12 |

| 28 | 28 | | (2) A video presentation that uses a high-quality, computer-generated rendering or 13 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | animation to demonstrate the process of a surgical abortion in the first trimester; 14 |

| 30 | 30 | | or 15 |

| 31 | 31 | | (3) A video presentation that uses a high-quality, computer-generated rendering or 16 |

| 32 | 32 | | animation to demonstrate the process of a surgical abortion in the second 17 |
