14		-	WHEREAS, Jordan made history as the first Miss Rodeo South Dakota to be born and
15		-	raised in Brookings; and
16		-	WHEREAS, Jordan earned an associate's degree in law enforcement from Lake Area
17		-	Technical College in Watertown; and
18		-	WHEREAS, following her education, Jordan spent four years working in law enforcement,
19		-	where she gained firsthand insight into mental health challenges that inspired her to create
20		-	her platform, Mental Health Matters; and
21		-	WHEREAS, as Miss Rodeo South Dakota, Jordan will represent the state’s rich rodeo
22		-	tradition and western heritage and serve as an ambassador for the sport, promoting rodeo
23		-	and the rural lifestyle across South Dakota and beyond;
24		-	NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundredth Legislature of the State
25		-	of South Dakota, that Jordan Jensen is Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2025.
