12		-	WHEREAS, twenty-four-year-old Callie Mueller of Florence, South Dakota, is a dedicated horsewoman
13		-	and equine enthusiast, has a background in 4-H and FFA, and earned a Bachelor of Science in education
14		-	from Dakota State University; and
15		-	WHEREAS, Ms. Mueller was chosen as Miss Rodeo South Dakota in 2024; and
16		-	WHEREAS, Ms. Mueller went on to compete in December 2024 in the nine -day Miss Rodeo America
17		-	pageant to select the official spokesperson for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association; and
18		-	WHEREAS, Ms. Mueller stood out among the twenty -nine contestants, excelling in horsemanship,
19		-	speaking, and personality, among other categories; and
20		-	WHEREAS, Callie Mueller was chosen Miss Rodeo America on December 8, 2024, at the National
21		-	Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and will represent the rodeo community in 2025, by logging more than forty
22		-	thousand miles and appearing at nearly one hundred rodeos; and
23		-	WHEREAS, the lawmakers of this state cannot imagine a person better suited to wear the Landstrom's
24		-	Black Hills gold crown that Miss Rodeo America wears;
25		-	NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundredth Legislature of the State of South
26		-	Dakota, that Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2024, Callie Mueller, is worthy of respect and honor in her
27		-	important new role as Miss Rodeo America 2025.
