16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that this General Assembly should salute those student athletes |

17 | 17 | | who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as true champions of |

19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, one such exemplary group of lasses is the Mt. Juliet High School Lady |

20 | 20 | | Bears girls' basketball team, whose members have proven themselves to be the fiercest of |

21 | 21 | | competitors and truly worthy of admiration by winning the TSSAA Class 4A District 12 |

23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, in the championship game, the Lady Bears clipped the wings of the Green |

24 | 24 | | Hill Lady Hawks by a score of 59-54 to bring home the gold; and |

25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Mt. Juliet relied heavily upon the talent, competitive spirit, and leadership of |

26 | 26 | | the tournament's Most Valuable Player, McClaine Ringenberg, who led the Lady Bears to the |

27 | 27 | | promised land by scoring 19 points in the final, including six fourth-quarter free throws; and |

28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, also contributing significantly to the Lady Bears' title run were Claire Emery, |

29 | 29 | | Aaliyah Holman, Addy Osborne, Isabella Craig, Makayla Hopson, Sophia McGresham, Carlie |
