13 | 13 | | Pollard upon the celebration of their sixtieth |

16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, the members of this General Assembly take great pleasure in paying tribute |

17 | 17 | | to those successful marriages that have stood the test of time to serve as exemplars for present |

19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, on March 26, 1965, Andrew Pollard and Rose Marie Briggs were joined in |

20 | 20 | | holy matrimony, and since that fateful day, this outstanding couple has faced the world as one, |

21 | 21 | | basking in the glow of their love for each other during both life's joys and sorrows; and |
---|
22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Pollard are highly respected citizens of their community and |
---|
23 | 23 | | the very epitome of good neighbors, as they always endeavor to treat others as they would like |

24 | 24 | | to be treated; and |
---|
25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, the couple owns A & R Barbecue, and Mrs. Pollard is a retired postal clerk |

26 | 26 | | who formerly worked at the Memphis Bulk Mail Center; and |
---|
27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Andrew and Rose Pollard have both earned the respect of their colleagues |
---|
28 | 28 | | and customers alike for the exemplary quality of their food and service; and |

29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, this fine couple's praiseworthy marriage has produced three children, |

30 | 30 | | Lashun (Gregory) Turner, Brian (Magistrate Judge Mitzi) Pollard, and the late Latrice (Reginald |

32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, the Pollards are also the proud grandparents of Keith (Asia) Pollard, |

33 | 33 | | Brandon Pollard, Randi Anthony, and Reginald Anthony II and the great-grandparents of |

34 | 34 | | Aaliyah Anthony, Kash Pollard, and Major Glass; and |
