15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons |

16 | 16 | | who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative |

18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Alexis Bartlett is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her |
---|
19 | 19 | | role as a legislative intern for Representative Andrew Farmer and the House Judiciary |
---|
20 | 20 | | Committee; her work has resulted in innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and |
---|
21 | 21 | | the General Assembly as a whole; and |

22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Bartlett also lent her time and talents to the House Criminal Justice |

23 | 23 | | Subcommittee, the House Children and Family Affairs Subcommittee, and the House Civil |

24 | 24 | | Justice Subcommittee; and |

25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, a student at Tennessee State University (TSU), where she is highly |

26 | 26 | | regarded by her peers, Ms. Bartlett has achieved academic success while working toward a |

27 | 27 | | Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government, with a minor in history and |
---|
28 | 28 | | concentration in law, and volunteering with Fish & Loaves Ministry and Girl Scouts of America; |

30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, she is a member of the TSU Honors College, an event coordinator for the |

31 | 31 | | TSU chapter of Delight Ministries, and a representative in the Tennessee Intercollegiate Student |
