| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, the popularity of volleyball is growing rapidly among both athletes and fans |

| 19 | 19 | | in Tennessee and across the nation; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, on August 31, 2025, the Nashville Sports Council and ESPN will sponsor |

| 21 | 21 | | the inaugural Broadway Block Party women's college volleyball tournament at Bridgestone |

| 22 | 22 | | Arena in Nashville, a city that has become prominent as a host of major sporting events; and |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, the first women's collegiate volleyball tournament to be held in Bridgestone |

| 24 | 24 | | Arena, the 2025 Broadway Block Party will feature some of the nation's elite volleyball athletes |

| 25 | 25 | | playing in three SEC versus Big 10 contests, with all matches being nationally televised; and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, the first match pits five-time national champion Nebraska against defending |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | SEC champion Kentucky; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, the second match will feature Purdue versus the Tennessee Lady Vols; |

| 29 | 29 | | both teams have made four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances and both have |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, in the final match of the tripleheader, Illinois, a veteran of twenty-eight |
