| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, we take great pleasure in recognizing a passionate and resilient young |

| 17 | 17 | | Tennessean who has begun her career in the U.S. Navy by receiving top marks and a |

|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Airman Apprentice Araceli White of Clarksville recently graduated as the top |

| 20 | 20 | | Sailor from U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command (RTC), earning the Military Excellence Award; |

|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, the Navy Club of the United States Military Excellence Award is the highest |

| 23 | 23 | | award presented to the recruit who best exemplifies the qualities of enthusiasm, devotion to |

| 24 | 24 | | duty, military bearing, and teamwork; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Araceli White's receipt of this award places her at the pinnacle of today's |

| 26 | 26 | | newest Sailors as she embarks upon her promising career in the U.S. Navy; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Ms. White enlisted in the Navy to help make her country a better place and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | to progress and develop as a person; and |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, at RTC, she acquired the leadership traits necessary to transform a group |

| 30 | 30 | | of individuals into a team, a key aspect of all military training; and |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Airman Apprentice White will now attend Air Traffic Controller "A" School for |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | training in the fundamentals of air traffic control, radar and radio communications group |

| 33 | 33 | | instruction, and simulators; and |

| 34 | 34 | | WHEREAS, a young lady of diverse talents, Araceli White is a graduate of West Creek |

| 35 | 35 | | High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, the honor choir, student |
