| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that we should specially recognize those outstanding teachers |

| 17 | 17 | | who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Andrea Birdsong is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |

| 20 | 20 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Birdsong was recently selected as the 2025-2026 Central High School |

| 22 | 22 | | Teacher of the Year, an honor most befitting her outstanding tenure as a teacher, as it |

| 23 | 23 | | recognizes the positive influence she has on so many young lives; and |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Birdsong is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who |

| 25 | 25 | | works assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, she is truly an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her |
