| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-9-501, establishes an advisory |

| 17 | 17 | | board for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC); and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-9-501, provides that the governor |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | shall appoint five (5) members to the UTC advisory board; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-9-501, requires that at least three |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (3) members of the UTC advisory board be alumni of that institution and at least three (3) |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | members be residents of this state; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Governor Bill Lee has appointed Todd Womack to the advisory board for |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for a term that expires on June 30, 2028; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Todd Womack is the president and CEO of Bridge Public Affairs, president |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | of Generation Property Management, and former chief of staff and staff director for U.S. Senator |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Bob Corker; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS Mr. Womack graduated from UTC in 1995 with a degree in communication |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | and media studies; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS Mr. Womack serves his alma mater as a member of the UTC Foundation |

| 31 | 31 | | Board of Trustees and the UTC Honors College Advisory Board; and |

| 32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-9-501, provides that each member |
