| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to pay |

| 17 | 17 | | tribute to those students who, through their natural talents and unflagging commitment to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | academic excellence, have distinguished themselves in the classroom; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Sarah Loren Blackwell is one such exceptional student, who was recently |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | named the Salutatorian of the 2025 graduating class at Wayne County High School; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, through diligent study, steady composure during examinations, and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | steadfast commitment of time and talent, Ms. Blackwell has achieved outstanding academic |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | success and joined the ranks of the best and brightest students in Tennessee and our country; |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, in her remarkable high school career, Sarah Blackwell has earned an |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | exemplary grade average of 99.603 while participating in numerous extracurricular activities, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | including the softball team, Beta Club, and Interact Club, as well as acting as Math Club |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | treasurer, senior class Sergeant at Arms, FCA leader, Wildcat Den leader, and a Wildcat |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Ambassador; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, voted Most Likely to Succeed by her peers, Ms. Blackwell will graduate with |

| 31 | 31 | | honors, distinction, and work ethics distinction, as well as a Wayne County Volunteer Scholar, |

| 32 | 32 | | accolades that all point to her outstanding character and academic abilities; and |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, her display of intellectual aptitude and ambition surely bodes well for her |

| 34 | 34 | | future success as a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she will study |
