12	12	A RESOLUTION to commend Alisha Dunham for exemplary
13	13	service as a legislative intern.

15	15	WHEREAS, each legislative session, this General Assembly is pleased to recognize
16	16	certain persons who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment
17	17	of the legislative process; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Alisha Dunham is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her
19	19	role as a legislative intern for Senator Page Walley; and
20	20	WHEREAS, Ms. Dunham's work has resulted in innumerable benefits for the legislators
21	21	she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
22	22	WHEREAS, a student at Tennessee State University, where she is highly regarded by
23	23	her peers, Alisha Dunham has achieved academic success while pursuing a Bachelor of
24	24	Science degree in Psychology and Political Science; and
25	25	WHEREAS, hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Alisha Dunham brought leadership, team
26	26	building, and interpersonal skills to her time with the legislature, obtained through various retail
27	27	and customer service positions she has held over the years; and
28	28	WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
29	29	Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Ms. Dunham brought her many abilities
30	30	and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred Fourteenth
31	31	General Assembly; and
32	32	WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Alisha Dunham has surpassed all
33	33	criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern, serving with professionalism,
34	34	organization, courtesy, and kindness to all; and

39	39	WHEREAS, Ms. Dunham has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight and
40	40	rare decorum; now, therefore,
41	41	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE O NE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
42	42	GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
43	43	REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Alisha Dunham for
44	44	outstanding service as a legislative intern for Senator Page Walley and extend to her our best
45	45	wishes for every future success.
46	46	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
47	47	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
48	48	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
49	49	without House or Senate designation.
