1212 A RESOLUTION to commend Alisha Dunham for exemplary
1313 service as a legislative intern.

1515 WHEREAS, each legislative session, this General Assembly is pleased to recognize
1616 certain persons who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment
1717 of the legislative process; and
1818 WHEREAS, Alisha Dunham is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her
1919 role as a legislative intern for Senator Page Walley; and
2020 WHEREAS, Ms. Dunham's work has resulted in innumerable benefits for the legislators
2121 she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
2222 WHEREAS, a student at Tennessee State University, where she is highly regarded by
2323 her peers, Alisha Dunham has achieved academic success while pursuing a Bachelor of
2424 Science degree in Psychology and Political Science; and
2525 WHEREAS, hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Alisha Dunham brought leadership, team
2626 building, and interpersonal skills to her time with the legislature, obtained through various retail
2727 and customer service positions she has held over the years; and
2828 WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
2929 Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Ms. Dunham brought her many abilities
3030 and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred Fourteenth
3131 General Assembly; and
3232 WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Alisha Dunham has surpassed all
3333 criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern, serving with professionalism,
3434 organization, courtesy, and kindness to all; and

3939 WHEREAS, Ms. Dunham has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight and
4040 rare decorum; now, therefore,
4141 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE O NE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
4242 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
4343 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Alisha Dunham for
4444 outstanding service as a legislative intern for Senator Page Walley and extend to her our best
4545 wishes for every future success.
4646 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
4747 for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
4848 the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
4949 without House or Senate designation.
