<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 312 By Walley SJR0312 006207 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to commend Alisha Dunham for exemplary service as a legislative intern. WHEREAS, each legislative session, this General Assembly is pleased to recognize certain persons who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative process; and WHEREAS, Alisha Dunham is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her role as a legislative intern for Senator Page Walley; and WHEREAS, Ms. Dunham's work has resulted in innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and WHEREAS, a student at Tennessee State University, where she is highly regarded by her peers, Alisha Dunham has achieved academic success while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science; and WHEREAS, hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Alisha Dunham brought leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills to her time with the legislature, obtained through various retail and customer service positions she has held over the years; and WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Ms. Dunham brought her many abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred Fourteenth General Assembly; and WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Alisha Dunham has surpassed all criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern, serving with professionalism, organization, courtesy, and kindness to all; and - 2 - 006207 WHEREAS, Ms. Dunham has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight and rare decorum; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE O NE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Alisha Dunham for outstanding service as a legislative intern for Senator Page Walley and extend to her our best wishes for every future success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
