1313 A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Dr. Heather Lynn
1414 Webber for her dedicated service as a teacher.

1616 WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to
1717 specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the
1818 highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and
1919 WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is one such estimable educator, who has
2020 distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and
2121 WHEREAS, Dr. Webber has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to education
2222 throughout her decade-long service as a seventh-grade science teacher at the University
2323 School of Nashville, where she has touched the lives of countless students and instilled in them
2424 a deep love for science and learning; and
2525 WHEREAS, the daughter of Dr. Bart Campbell, a highly respected figure in the
2626 community, and Audrey Campbell, a renowned poet, playwright, and actress, Dr. Heather Lynn
2727 Webber is the sister of Brent Campbell and our esteemed colleague Senator Heidi Campbell;

2929 WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is a graduate of both the University of Tennessee
3030 Medical School and Brown University and brings a wealth of expertise to the classroom,
3131 particularly in science and sex education, with her background as an obstetrician-gynecologist;

3333 WHEREAS, her many accomplishments aside, Dr. Webber is most grateful for the love
3434 and support she shares with her husband, Dr. Angus Webber, and their two sons, Connor

3939 (Schyler) Webber and Blair Webber; she is also a proud grandmother, affectionately known as
4040 Di Di to her granddaughter, Margot Ochiltree Webber; and
4141 WHEREAS, a dedicated naturalist, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber shares her love of nature
4242 and animals with all who know her, and she is a devoted mother to numerous poodles; and
4343 WHEREAS, she is also a beloved member of the Nashville theater community, an
4444 accomplished actress, and an active and generous friend and community member known for
4545 her beautiful voice, contagious wit, and colorful costumes; and
4646 WHEREAS, Dr. Webber's brilliant and creative approach to teaching has been an
4747 inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her friendship and counsel are highly
4848 valued; and
4949 WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber's contributions as a teacher, mentor, and
5050 community leader have left an indelible mark on the University School of Nashville and beyond,
5151 and as she embarks on the next chapter of her life, we wish her continued success, happiness,
5252 and fulfillment; now, therefore,
5353 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
5454 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
5555 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we honor and commend Dr. Heather Lynn Webber
5656 for her outstanding service as a seventh-grade science teacher at the University School of
5757 Nashville, commend her exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute her
5858 professional expertise and personal excellence, and wish her all the best in her future
5959 endeavors.
6060 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
6161 for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
6262 the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
