13	13	A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Dr. Heather Lynn
14	14	Webber for her dedicated service as a teacher.

16	16	WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to
17	17	specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the
18	18	highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and
19	19	WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is one such estimable educator, who has
20	20	distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and
21	21	WHEREAS, Dr. Webber has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to education
22	22	throughout her decade-long service as a seventh-grade science teacher at the University
23	23	School of Nashville, where she has touched the lives of countless students and instilled in them
24	24	a deep love for science and learning; and
25	25	WHEREAS, the daughter of Dr. Bart Campbell, a highly respected figure in the
26	26	community, and Audrey Campbell, a renowned poet, playwright, and actress, Dr. Heather Lynn
27	27	Webber is the sister of Brent Campbell and our esteemed colleague Senator Heidi Campbell;
28	28	and
29	29	WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is a graduate of both the University of Tennessee
30	30	Medical School and Brown University and brings a wealth of expertise to the classroom,
31	31	particularly in science and sex education, with her background as an obstetrician-gynecologist;

33	33	WHEREAS, her many accomplishments aside, Dr. Webber is most grateful for the love
34	34	and support she shares with her husband, Dr. Angus Webber, and their two sons, Connor

39	39	(Schyler) Webber and Blair Webber; she is also a proud grandmother, affectionately known as
40	40	Di Di to her granddaughter, Margot Ochiltree Webber; and
41	41	WHEREAS, a dedicated naturalist, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber shares her love of nature
42	42	and animals with all who know her, and she is a devoted mother to numerous poodles; and
43	43	WHEREAS, she is also a beloved member of the Nashville theater community, an
44	44	accomplished actress, and an active and generous friend and community member known for
45	45	her beautiful voice, contagious wit, and colorful costumes; and
46	46	WHEREAS, Dr. Webber's brilliant and creative approach to teaching has been an
47	47	inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her friendship and counsel are highly
48	48	valued; and
49	49	WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber's contributions as a teacher, mentor, and
50	50	community leader have left an indelible mark on the University School of Nashville and beyond,
51	51	and as she embarks on the next chapter of her life, we wish her continued success, happiness,
52	52	and fulfillment; now, therefore,
53	53	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
54	54	GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
55	55	REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we honor and commend Dr. Heather Lynn Webber
56	56	for her outstanding service as a seventh-grade science teacher at the University School of
57	57	Nashville, commend her exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute her
58	58	professional expertise and personal excellence, and wish her all the best in her future
59	59	endeavors.
60	60	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
61	61	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
62	62	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
63	63	without House or Senate designation.
