<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 320 By Campbell SJR0320 006443 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Dr. Heather Lynn Webber for her dedicated service as a teacher. WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and WHEREAS, Dr. Webber has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to education throughout her decade-long service as a seventh-grade science teacher at the University School of Nashville, where she has touched the lives of countless students and instilled in them a deep love for science and learning; and WHEREAS, the daughter of Dr. Bart Campbell, a highly respected figure in the community, and Audrey Campbell, a renowned poet, playwright, and actress, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is the sister of Brent Campbell and our esteemed colleague Senator Heidi Campbell; and WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber is a graduate of both the University of Tennessee Medical School and Brown University and brings a wealth of expertise to the classroom, particularly in science and sex education, with her background as an obstetrician-gynecologist; and WHEREAS, her many accomplishments aside, Dr. Webber is most grateful for the love and support she shares with her husband, Dr. Angus Webber, and their two sons, Connor - 2 - 006443 (Schyler) Webber and Blair Webber; she is also a proud grandmother, affectionately known as Di Di to her granddaughter, Margot Ochiltree Webber; and WHEREAS, a dedicated naturalist, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber shares her love of nature and animals with all who know her, and she is a devoted mother to numerous poodles; and WHEREAS, she is also a beloved member of the Nashville theater community, an accomplished actress, and an active and generous friend and community member known for her beautiful voice, contagious wit, and colorful costumes; and WHEREAS, Dr. Webber's brilliant and creative approach to teaching has been an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her friendship and counsel are highly valued; and WHEREAS, Dr. Heather Lynn Webber's contributions as a teacher, mentor, and community leader have left an indelible mark on the University School of Nashville and beyond, and as she embarks on the next chapter of her life, we wish her continued success, happiness, and fulfillment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we honor and commend Dr. Heather Lynn Webber for her outstanding service as a seventh-grade science teacher at the University School of Nashville, commend her exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute her professional expertise and personal excellence, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
