1212 A RESOLUTION to commend Nicholas Reynolds, Governor of the
1313 2025 Intern Mock Session.

1515 WHEREAS, each legislative session, we are pleased to welcome a select group of
1616 students who commit themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the
1717 legislative process as legislative interns; and
1818 WHEREAS, annually, during each session of the General Assembly, the intern class
1919 holds a mock legislative session and elects from among their membership a governor, a
2020 lieutenant governor, a speaker of the house, a majority leader, and a minority leader; and
2121 WHEREAS, Nicholas Reynolds, a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, was
2222 elected Governor of the 2025 Intern Mock Session for the first regular session of the 114

2525 Tennessee General Assembly; and
2626 WHEREAS, during this legislative session, Mr. Reynolds has served with distinction in
2727 his role as a legislative intern for Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally and Senator Adam Lowe;

2929 WHEREAS, Nicholas Reynolds's commitment to excellence is clearly deserving of the
3030 respect, admiration, and commendation of this General Assembly; now, therefore,
3131 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
3232 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
3333 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we hereby hono r Nicholas Reynolds on his election
3434 as Governor of the 2025 Intern Mock Session and extend to him our best wishes for every
3535 future success.
3636 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
3737 for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
