<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 478 By Pody SJR0478 007854 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Kimberly McPeak, 2024– 2025 Stoner Creek Elementary School Teacher of the Year. WHEREAS, it is fitting that we should specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and WHEREAS, Kimberly McPeak is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and WHEREAS, Ms. McPeak has been named the 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year at Stoner Creek Elementary School, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive influence she has on so many young lives; and WHEREAS, an educator for twenty-five years, Kimberly McPeak serves as a first-grade and third-grade teacher, as well as a K-5 reading and math interventionist, at Stoner Creek Elementary; she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education degree in Literacy; and WHEREAS, Ms. McPeak serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and her friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know her; and WHEREAS, Kimberly McPeak truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is wholly committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and she should be specially recognized; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STAT E OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we honor and congratulate Kimberly McPeak on - 2 - 007854 being chosen as the 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year at Stoner Creek Elementary School, commend her exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute her professional expertise and personal excellence, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
