15 | 15 | WHEREAS, Women's Day on the Hill is a time to honor the achievements of those | |
16 | 16 | Tennessee women who have paved the way for every person to have the opportunity to pursue | |

18 | 18 | WHEREAS, the Volunteer State is proud to be the home of the awe-inspiring Cathy | |
19 | 19 | Carrillo, a Nashville native who has a decade of experience in nonprofit and grassroots | |
20 | 20 | organizations and who now serves as the Metro Human Relations Commission's Director of | |
21 | 21 | Community Engagement; and | |
22 | 22 | WHEREAS, her work, both past and present, has been instrumental in preserving the | |
23 | 23 | dignity, diversity, and common welfare of Nashville's citizens; and | |
24 | 24 | WHEREAS, in saluting Ms. Carrillo on this special occasion, let us remember that when | |
25 | 25 | women succeed, America succeeds, as does Tennessee; now, therefore, | |
26 | 26 | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH | |
27 | 27 | GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we hereby honor and commend | |
28 | 28 | Cathy Carrillo on her many contributions to the State of Tennessee as we celebrate Women's | |
29 | 29 | Day on the Hill. | |
30 | 30 | BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared | |
31 | 31 | for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy. |
