15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, the members of the Senate wish to recognize a highly skilled and talented |

16 | 16 | | professional who, throughout her tenure with the legislature, evidenced the dedication and |

17 | 17 | | excellence of a true public servant; and |

18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Carragan Laine Fields began her legislative service as an intern in Senator |
---|
19 | 19 | | Ferrell Haile's office in 2022, and she stayed connected with him and his staff after returning to |

20 | 20 | | her studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK); and |
---|
21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, when a position in Senator Haile's office became available, the Senator |
---|
22 | 22 | | quickly offered the job to Carragan; she accepted; and neither party has since regretted the |

23 | 23 | | decision; and |
---|
24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Fields gladly completed her final semester of undergraduate work |

25 | 25 | | online to begin her career with the State of Tennessee; and |
---|
26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, while working full-time for Senator Haile, Carragan was named a |

27 | 27 | | Torchbearer at UTK, and she was honored to serve as the commencement speaker at her |

28 | 28 | | graduation ceremony; and |
---|
29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Carragan Fields brought immense positivity to Senator Haile's office, not |

30 | 30 | | only through her warm and friendly demeanor, but also through her vibrant attire and pink |

31 | 31 | | workspace; and |

32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Fields consistently upheld the highest standards of integrity while |

33 | 33 | | working for the Senate, demonstrating a strong commitment to ethical principles, both in her |

44 | 44 | | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH |
