<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE RESOLUTION 131 By Walley SR0131 007048 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Courtney Bingham on being named a 2025 Sterling Award winner by the Jackson Area Business Professional Women. WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this legislative body should salute those citizens who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as community leaders of whom we can all be proud; and WHEREAS, one such estimable person is Courtney Bingham, who has distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and WHEREAS, Ms. Bingham was recently named a 2025 Sterling Award winner by the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women and duly recognized as one of twenty Most Influential Women in West Tennessee; and WHEREAS, Ms. Bingham currently serves as a systems operations analyst at Jackson Energy Authority (JEA), in which position she has earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and community alike for the superior quality of her work; and WHEREAS, in addition to her current position at JEA, Ms. Bingham excels as an entrepreneur and the owner of Mimi's Boutique; and WHEREAS, Courtney Bingham is a well-respected member of her community and her profession, and she epitomizes the spirit and commitment that are characteristic of a true Tennessean; and WHEREAS, we find it appropriate to acknowledge and applaud Ms. Bingham for her many contributions to the good people of Tennessee, her unwavering commitment to others, and her astute leadership in Chester County; now, therefore, - 2 - 007048 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we honor and commend Courtney Bingham on being named a 2025 Sterling Award winner by the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women and extend to her our best wishes for every future success.
