| 12 | 12 | (g) A department police vehicle must be equipped with a | |
| 13 | 13 | front windshield containing bulletproof glass. | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only | |
| 15 | 15 | to vehicles purchased by the Department of Public Safety of the | |
| 16 | 16 | State of Texas on or after the effective date of this Act. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
