1010 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
1111 AN ACT
1212 relating to an application filed with a county commissioners court
1313 to revise a subdivision plat.
1414 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1515 SECTION 1. Section 232.041, Local Government Code, is
1616 amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows:
1717 (e) The commissioners court may impose a fee for an
1818 application under this section. The amount of the fee must be based
1919 on the cost of processing the application, including the notices
2020 required under Subsection (b) not to exceed one thousand five
2121 hundred dollars ($1,500.00).
2222 SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act to Section
2323 232.041, Local Government Code, applies only to an application
2424 filed on or after the effective date of this Act.
2525 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2626 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2727 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2828 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2929 Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
