66 AN ACT
77 relating to reporting certain information on the Internet relating
88 to cases heard by administrative law judges employed by the State
99 Office of Administrative Hearings.
1010 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1111 SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 2003, Government Code, is
1212 amended by adding Section 2003.058 to read as follows:
1313 Sec. 2003.058. INTERNET REPORT. (a) The office shall post
1414 on the office's Internet website at least once each quarter a report
1515 on the total number of cases heard by each administrative law judge
1616 employed by the office during the previous quarter.
1717 (b) A report must be posted not later than the 30th day after
1818 the last day of the quarter and must include:
1919 (1) the name of each administrative law judge;
2020 (2) the number of cases heard by the administrative
2121 law judge during the quarter;
2222 (3) the municipality, county, or region in which the
2323 hearing was conducted or the final ruling was made;
2424 (4) the category the office assigned to each case;
2525 (5) the number of cases in which the administrative
2626 law judge's decision was favorable to the state; and
2727 (6) the number of cases in which the administrative
2828 law judge's decision in favor of the state was appealed to the
2929 courts and upheld by the reviewing court.
3030 (c) Each administrative law judge employed by the office
3131 shall provide the information required under this section to the
3232 office not later than the 10th day after the last day of each
3333 quarter.
3434 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
