| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 2003, Government Code, is |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | amended by adding Section 2003.058 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Sec. 2003.058. INTERNET REPORT. (a) The office shall post |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | on the office's Internet website at least once each quarter a report |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | on the total number of cases heard by each administrative law judge |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | employed by the office during the previous quarter. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (b) A report must be posted not later than the 30th day after |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the last day of the quarter and must include: |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (1) the name of each administrative law judge; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (2) the number of cases heard by the administrative |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | law judge during the quarter; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (3) the municipality, county, or region in which the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | hearing was conducted or the final ruling was made; |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (4) the category the office assigned to each case; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (5) the number of cases in which the administrative |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | law judge's decision was favorable to the state; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (6) the number of cases in which the administrative |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | law judge's decision in favor of the state was appealed to the |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | courts and upheld by the reviewing court. |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | (c) Each administrative law judge employed by the office |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | shall provide the information required under this section to the |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | office not later than the 10th day after the last day of each |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | quarter. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
