O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2792 by Homer (Relating to the regulation of signs by municipalities.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize a municipality, whether set up as a home-rule municipality or not, to regulate signs in the municipality. Under current statute, only a home-rule municipality has that authority. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
