O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2820 by Chisum (Relating to contracts by governmental entities for professional services relating to geoscience.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  This bill would amend the Government Code relating to contracts by governmental entities for professional services relating to geoscience. Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation and the Commission on Environmental Quality, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. This bill would amend the Government Code relating to contracts by governmental entities for professional services relating to geoscience.
