This bill would amend the Government Code relating to contracts by governmental entities for professional services relating to geoscience and landscape architecture. Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation and the Commission on Environmental Quality, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
