| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 167.051, Agriculture Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (d) The owner of a livestock auction facility located in or | |
| 13 | 13 | not more than 20 miles from the border of an area quarantined for | |
| 14 | 14 | the prevention or control of fever ticks shall dip each head of | |
| 15 | 15 | livestock before allowing the livestock to be moved from the | |
| 16 | 16 | premises of the auction facility. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
