| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 47.021, Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 47.021. LICENSE FEES. (a) Fees for licenses issued |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | under Sections 47.009, 47.011, and 47.013 may not be increased by |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | more than 20 [10] percent of the amount of the fee set by the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | commission and effective on September 1, 2002. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (b) This section expires September 1, 2013 [2009]. |

| 17 | 17 | | SECTION 2. Section 77.049, Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Sec. 77.049. LICENSE FEES. (a) Fees for licenses issued |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | under Sections 77.031 and 77.035 may not be increased by more than |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 20 [10] percent of the amount of the fee set by the commission and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | effective on September 1, 2002. |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | (b) This section expires September 1, 2013 [2009]. |

| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Act takes effect August 31, 2009. |
