5	5	WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of William
6	6	C. "Dub" Hill, Jr., who passed away on March 7, 2009, at the age of
7	7	81; and
8	8	WHEREAS, A longtime resident of the Fort Worth area, Dub Hill
9	9	worked for Lone Star Gas Company for 39 years until his retirement
10	10	in 1990; he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, an active Special
11	11	Olympics volunteer, and a member of Springdale Baptist Church; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Mr. Hill and his wife, Nancy, shared 57 years of
13	13	marriage; the couple became the parents of three children, Sherri,
14	14	Lisa, and the late William Keith Hill, and welcomed four
15	15	grandchildren into their family; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Dub Hill lived a devoted and purposeful life; he
17	17	leaves behind a wealth of fond memories to be treasured by all those
18	18	who held him dear, and he will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be
19	19	it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
21	21	hereby pay tribute to the life of William C. "Dub" Hill, Jr., and
22	22	extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
23	23	Nancy Hill; to his daughters, Lisa Hill and Sherri Germann and her
24	24	husband, Dan; to his grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Melanie, and
25	25	Heather; to his siblings, Rayburn Hill, Mozelle Abshire, Laverne
26	26	Guilliams, and Bettie Rhodes; and to his other relatives and many
27	27	friends; and, be it further
28	28	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
29	29	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
30	30	Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
31	31	William C. "Dub" Hill, Jr.
