 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of William
 C. "Dub" Hill, Jr., who passed away on March 7, 2009, at the age of
 81; and
 WHEREAS, A longtime resident of the Fort Worth area, Dub Hill
 worked for Lone Star Gas Company for 39 years until his retirement
 in 1990; he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, an active Special
 Olympics volunteer, and a member of Springdale Baptist Church; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Hill and his wife, Nancy, shared 57 years of
 marriage; the couple became the parents of three children, Sherri,
 Lisa, and the late William Keith Hill, and welcomed four
 grandchildren into their family; and
 WHEREAS, Dub Hill lived a devoted and purposeful life; he
 leaves behind a wealth of fond memories to be treasured by all those
 who held him dear, and he will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be
 it
 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
 hereby pay tribute to the life of William C. "Dub" Hill, Jr., and
 extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
 Nancy Hill; to his daughters, Lisa Hill and Sherri Germann and her
 husband, Dan; to his grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Melanie, and
 Heather; to his siblings, Rayburn Hill, Mozelle Abshire, Laverne
 Guilliams, and Bettie Rhodes; and to his other relatives and many
 friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
 William C. "Dub" Hill, Jr.
