 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 WHEREAS, A life filled with joyful times and meaningful
 accomplishments drew to a close with the passing of G. G. May of
 Blossom on March 17, 2009, at the age of 83; and
 WHEREAS, The son of George and Emily May, "Jelly" May shared a
 rewarding relationship with his wife, Sylvia, and the couple were
 blessed with two daughters, Sharon and Linda, and two sons, Larry
 and Roy; Mr. May later knew the joy of welcoming 8 grandchildren and
 18 great-grandchildren into his family; and
 WHEREAS, While his death has brought great sorrow to his
 loved ones, Jelly May will be forever remembered with great
 admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
 hereby pay tribute to the life of G. G. May and extend sincere
 condolences to the members of his family: to his wife, Sylvia May;
 to his children, Sharon Minton and her husband, Clay, Linda Farris
 and her husband, Jerry, Larry May and his wife, Meleta, and Roy May
 and his wife, Daretha; to his grandchildren, Cobi Bridges and her
 husband, Ronnie, Mika Reynolds and her husband, Mark, Gina Swaim
 and her husband, Chris, Dustin May and his wife, Wendy, Cory May and
 his wife, Autumn, Krystal Roach and her husband, Jeff, Brandon May
 and his wife, Kristen, and Ashley Langley and her husband, Cameron;
 to his sister, Pat Dennis, and her husband, Butch; to his 18
 great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends; and,
 be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate and House of
 Representatives adjourn this day, they do so in memory of Jelly May.
