44 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
55 WHEREAS, The family and friends of Fredrick Michael Ford of
66 Sulphur Springs were deeply saddened by his untimely passing on
77 April 14, 2009, at the age of 50; and
88 WHEREAS, Born in Hopkins County on August 3, 1958, Fred Ford
99 was the son of Roosevelt and Mary Lois Ross Ford and the brother of
1010 Roberta; he graduated from Sulphur Springs High School; and
1111 WHEREAS, Mr. Ford was employed by Borden Dairy Products as a
1212 machine operator, and he worked at Sand Point Mobile Home
1313 Manufacturing and other local businesses; he was a congregant of
1414 Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ; and
1515 WHEREAS, He was married to Anita Mosley and rejoiced in his
1616 treasured family, which includes 5 sons, 10 grandchildren, and a
1717 great-grandchild; and
1818 WHEREAS, Fred Ford lived a caring and purposeful life, and he
1919 will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who were
2020 fortunate enough to share in his love and friendship; now,
2121 therefore, be it
2222 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
2323 hereby honor the life of Fredrick Michael Ford and extend sincere
2424 condolences to the members of his family: to his sons, Myron Mosley,
2525 Fredrick O'Neal Ford, Tranameth Ford, Tearance Ford, and Corey Hall
2626 and his wife, Michelle; to his grandchildren, Yvonne, Dereck,
2727 Alexis, Trayvon, Makayla, Breanna, Aliecia, Jaques, Jeremiah, and
2828 Nasiah; to his great-grandchild, Mylah; to his sisters, Lonease
2929 Williams, Mary Taylor Jackson and her husband, William, Gloria Jean
3030 Hemphill and her husband, George, Brenda Hawell and her husband,
3131 James, and Freda Cash; and to his other relatives and friends; and,
3232 be it further
3333 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3434 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
3535 Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
3636 Fredrick Michael Ford.
