44 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
55 WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain of a young life cut
66 short, and we join the loved ones of Dustin Dow Clements of North
77 Hopkins in mourning his passing on April 26, 2009, at the age of 21;
88 and
99 WHEREAS, Born in Sulphur Springs on April 8, 1988, Dustin
1010 Clements graduated from North Hopkins High School; and
1111 WHEREAS, An avid softball player, Mr. Clements played for the
1212 Amateur Softball Association of America as well as for U-Trip; he
1313 was a member of Martin Springs Baptist Church; and
1414 WHEREAS, Although his life ended far too soon, the family and
1515 friends of this beloved young man may count themselves fortunate to
1616 have known him, and they will forever hold him close in their
1717 hearts; now, therefore, be it
1818 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
1919 hereby pay tribute to the life of Dustin Dow Clements and extend
2020 deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his parents, Edgar
2121 Clements, Jr., and Debbie Clements; to his sister, Ashley Clements;
2222 to his grandparents, Edith and Bill Jackson and Jerry Don Simpson;
2323 to his great-grandmother, Rosie Duckworth; to his nephew, Mason
2424 Clements; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
2525 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2626 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2727 Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
2828 Dustin Dow Clements.
