H.C.R. No. 273
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of David
Charles Buster of Caviness, who passed away on May 21, 2009, at the
age of 78; and
WHEREAS, Born in Caviness on April 6, 1931, to C. W. and Ella
Buster, David Buster graduated from Central High School; he married
the former Janie Stanley in 1949, and the couple raised four
children and enjoyed 57 years together before Mrs. Buster's death
in 2007; fortunate enough to find love a second time, he was
subsequently joined in matrimony to Martha Dennis; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Buster owned and operated his family's trucking
business and also worked as a rancher and a road contractor; and
WHEREAS, Although he will be deeply missed, David Buster
leaves his loved ones with countless fond memories of the happy
times they spent in his company; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
hereby pay tribute to the life of David Charles Buster and extend
sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Martha
Dennis; to his children, Peggy Robinson, Patti Buster, Mark Buster,
and Judy Daughtrey and her husband, Sonny; to his grandchildren,
Davy Bivens and his wife, Laura, Wesley Buster, Judd Bivens and his
wife, Shelly, Cody Sanders and his wife, Jana, Josh Bivens and his
wife, Krystal, Shelly Pope and her husband, Jeremy, Marcie Termin,
Cassidy Emeyabbi and her husband, Ernie, Bailee Roberts, Amber
Beyleryan and her husband, David, Kimberly Smith and her husband,
Andy, and Rance and Reece Buster; to his 13 great-grandchildren;
and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
David Buster.
