 CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 WHEREAS, Family and friends have been profoundly saddened by
 the tragic passing of Tyler Nicole Henderson of Detroit, Texas, on
 December 26, 2008, at the age of 15; and
 WHEREAS, Born to Tracy and Kelly Barton Henderson on December
 29, 1992, in Mount Pleasant, Tyler Henderson enjoyed the
 companionship of four siblings, Keith, Logan, Allyson, and Kaylee;
 and
 WHEREAS, The Detroit High School sophomore was a member of
 the school's basketball team, Spanish Club, and Beta Club; in
 addition, she played softball and was active in a number of other
 organizations, including FFA, the Fellowship of Christian
 Athletes, Upward Bound, and the Detroit Youth Rodeo Club; and
 WHEREAS, Although her life ended far too soon, Tyler
 Henderson will always be remembered with great affection by all who
 shared in her love and friendship; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
 hereby pay tribute to the life of Tyler Nicole Henderson and extend
 sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her mother, Kelly
 Kent; to her father, Tracy Henderson, and his wife, Misty; to her
 brothers and sisters, Keith, Logan, and Allyson Henderson and
 Kaylee Kent; to her grandparents, Kenneth and Shirley Henderson,
 Randall and Marsha Tyson, Jackie Barton, and Vickie Maye; to her
 great-grandparents, Connie and Janice Tyson, Jewel Henderson, and
 Joe Bob Burks; to her great-great-grandfather, Dennis Lee; and to
 her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
 Tyler Nicole Henderson.
