| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends have been profoundly saddened by |

| 6 | 6 | | the tragic passing of Tyler Nicole Henderson of Detroit, Texas, on |

| 7 | 7 | | December 26, 2008, at the age of 15; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born to Tracy and Kelly Barton Henderson on December |

| 9 | 9 | | 29, 1992, in Mount Pleasant, Tyler Henderson enjoyed the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | companionship of four siblings, Keith, Logan, Allyson, and Kaylee; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and |

| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, The Detroit High School sophomore was a member of |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the school's basketball team, Spanish Club, and Beta Club; in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | addition, she played softball and was active in a number of other |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | organizations, including FFA, the Fellowship of Christian |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Athletes, Upward Bound, and the Detroit Youth Rodeo Club; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Although her life ended far too soon, Tyler |

| 18 | 18 | | Henderson will always be remembered with great affection by all who |

| 19 | 19 | | shared in her love and friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | hereby pay tribute to the life of Tyler Nicole Henderson and extend |

| 22 | 22 | | sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her mother, Kelly |

| 23 | 23 | | Kent; to her father, Tracy Henderson, and his wife, Misty; to her |
